Our team has over 50 years of combined experience in developing safety-critical automotive systems, big data and machine learning solutions.

Dr Steven Keen
Co-Founder & CEO

Steve is a controls and software engineer with 25 years of experience in the development and commissioning of complex automotive systems. He received his PhD in Engineering (2009) from the University of Cambridge, UK on the topic of "Driver steering behavior & modeling for automated driving" and is currently a SOTIF contributing expert.

Dr Juozas Vaicenavicius
Co-Founder & CTO

Juozas is an industrial researcher in Machine Learning & Statistics with 8 years of experience in modeling and evaluating intelligent systems; from atomic clocks in satellites to computer vision algorithms in autonomous vehicles. He completed his PhD in Mathematical Statistics at Uppsala, SE, prior studies at Oxford University, UK. A SOTIF contributing expert.

Tilo Wiklund
Chief Data Scientist

Tilo is a multi-disciplinary researcher in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. Tilo has contributed to both fundamental and applied research across domain boundaries while a PhD student at Uppsala, SE, and more recently in industry. Tilo is an expert in statistical modeling, high-dimensional data analysis, an open-source contributor, and a functional programming enthusiast.

Dr Rimantas Vaicenavicius
Chief Statistician

Rimantas is an accomplished statistician with over two decades of experience in official statistics as well as data & process quality assessment and management. His past work spans broadly across different industry & government sectors and geographical locations. Rimantas received a PhD in Mathematics from the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, Novosibirsk, in 1991.

Ignas Vysniauskas
System Architect

Ignas has 8 years of experience in resilient software engineering and project management; developing highly-available infrastructure and distributed data processing solutions for data warehousing, ML, optimization & serving. His academic background connects programming with formal methods (MSc in Logic & Computation, University of Amsterdam, NL).

Kęstutis Jankevičius
Controls R&D Lead

Kęstutis is a controls and model-based software development engineer. Prior to joining Sensmetry, he spent 6 years working at Jaguar Land Rover as a controls engineer developing various software functions in the xEV Energy Management area with a particular focus in usage of ADASIS E-Horizon map data. Kęstutis graduated from The University of Edinburgh (UK) with a degree in MEng Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

Jurgis Aleksandravičius
R&D Engineer

Jurgis is a research engineer with a background in Wireless Communications. He has a master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick (UK) and has gained diverse engineering research experience working at different labs, including at the University of Bologna (IT). Past projects range from radar signal processing research to controls engineering for production systems.

Austė Grigaitė
Data Scientist

Austė is a Data Scientist with industrial experience in Mathematical Modelling, Software Engineering & Data Analysis as well as academic research background in Discrete Optimization. Austė has received an MSc in Pure Mathematics from Imperial College London.

Antanas Kalkauskas
Applied Mathematician

Antanas is an Applied Mathematician with background in Differential Equations, Probability Theory, and Computational Statistics. Antanas has received a BA and MMath degrees in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, also, is an International Mathematical Olympiad medalist.

Miglė Grigienė
Project & Administration Manager

Miglė is a Project and Administration Manager. Miglė has worked with a number of teams developing software and has experience administrating as well as coordinating IT and energy infrastructure projects. Miglė has received a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Vilnius Univeristy.

Dan Klein
Advisor

Dan has a strong track record in building business by exploiting existing intellectual property to meet customer needs. He is well networked and operates at the Board level of large listed companies. He provides unique and practical leadership to the delivery of ‘bottom line’ improvements in large complex operations. An engineer by training, the University of Cambridge.
